Dear Rock Chiropractic,

I would like to share my experience with Rock Chiropractic since deciding to make a change for myself. When I met Dr Kelley during one of your community outreach events at my children's Elementary School here in Round Rock, and asked for the free consultation, I already knew what I was getting into and what he would say. It is my body and I know every moment of abuse I have put it through…..and after 40 years I was tired of feeling it.

I played some high school sports, but was a pretty small guy relative to my other teammates, so I got literally remember being “squished” at times at the middle back. Not shortly following that, I drove boats on the ocean for a search and rescue team, fishing, scuba diving, wakeboarding, and jobs all of which for about 15 years impacted my spine with the natural pounding and jolts while underway. I would not trade a single moment from any of these things opportunities I have had but I knew they had taken their toll on my back.

In my opinion, my posture was failing and it seemed like I basically could not really move at all in my middle back. I spent every single day in some level of discomfort and accepted this as a permanent reality. This is hard to explain but I also held in all of my tension, stress and the discomfort which made me not always in the most pleasant of moods. I envisioned myself staring at the floor with a walker at the age of 60 for the rest of my life and that could not happen. The change was up to me and the first step was making that decision for myself.

I have considered many options all which were advertising “relief”, but I was not looking for relief…I was looking for a change. I went to a doctor of medicine to get help, but I chose to skip over the medical industry answer to my needs, which was suggesting I get on regimented pain relievers. Since this option left me thinking of being doped up on opiates in a sweat house in the far east in old times…. I kept looking.

Enter Dr Kelley and Rock Chiropractic. I have been under their care for some time and I feel amazing. From my first adjustment I knew they were ready to handle the work my spine needed and help me understand how I can help in the process. I can’t tell you in one page the impact they have had in my life and how much I recommend their services. I am able to move better, play with my family more, work out better, and feel like I have a higher quality of living thanks to the decision I made and the choice to use Rock Chiropractic.

Thank you for what you are doing in my life and for everyone in our community of Round Rock. Ooyah the ROCK Crew

I arrived at Rock Chiropractic, after an auto accident, which left me with severe pain in my lower back and neck. The pain limited my range of movement and my ability to focus. I suffered not only physically, but mentally as well. My weight training and artwork became not existent. On top of that, during my examination, additional abnormalities were found (a result of my life in the military and security industry). In short, I was a mess. The staff here at Rock, demonstrate a passion not only to one's physical wellness, but mental wellness as well. They have a great understanding to those dedicated to physical fitness. They understand my physical, mental, and spiritual wellness is essential for me. It means balance. I have regained my balance and I am on my way to recovery, thanks to the ROCK crew.

headaches gone

I have suffered for years with debilitating migraine headaches. After adjustments and the neck exercise program at Rock Chiropractic I have them less frequent and with much less severity. TELL US YOUR STORY… Dear Dr.Rock My mum and I came together after our neighbour told us how good he was. I had bad neck pains and always got very dizzy when I had to visit our doctor. Dr.Rock was so gentle and caring to me when I came. I have improved so much and sleep a lot better as well. I feel I concentrate at school and on homework a lot better now. I believe in chiropractors so much I actually did a science fair project on it, and learned so much more about it. I was so excited and interested I told my friends all about it. No more medication!

I am Sonja. I moved to Round Rock, TX from Forth Worth, TX in December 2005. After 3 1/2 years of injections, epidurals, nerve blocks and heavy medication, I was not better. One day I was in so much pain, I called my son Ray. He found Dr. Rock on the Internet and I was given an appointment the same day. My whole quality of life has changed. I use no medication. I feel my age again (young)

I came to Rock Chiropractic four months after having a baby. I was experiencing soreness in my mid back and tension in my neck. After only a few short weeks, I was pain free. Throughout the course of my plan to completely correct those areas in my neck and back, I have developed other symptoms that needed adjusted as well and Dr. Mix has been wonderful to change things around and meet those needs as they arise. He has been so helpful to me and my family. My husband and baby both go to him as well and he has truly made a difference in our health. My baby, Raegan, began seeing him at 4 months old and she has rarely been sick since that time. I really believe in chiropractic care and would recommend it to anyone, especially Rock Chiropractic. Follow up? what!?

Maybe it was turning the big Four-Oh last October or the constant OG (Old Guy) jokes from my two teens? Maybe constantly feeling tired? Not sure exactly but I decided I needed to get checked out and start taking a more active roll in maintaining my health. I went and had a complete physical done and started exercising more often. I renewed my membership to the Gym where I use to play racquetball, and actually started playing again. In Late December I started noticing a pain in my neck and upper back. I initially attributed it to a home repair project I was working on that turned into a major re-model of my living room. When the pain started getting worse, I started looking into chiropractic care. I was referred by a friend and due to the excellent customer experience my Kids and I receive; I have as well, referred additional patients. I was shocked to get a phone call from Dr. McCartney the evening of my first visit to see how everything went and if I had and questions… Follow up? What!? That is just unheard of in the healthcare industry! my experience has been... here's your prescription, call me if you need anything. The Staff is totally awesome! Smiling, friendly and enthusiastic on every visit. All that and no back/neck pain! I totally enjoy my visits to Rock Chiropractic!

Life Restored

I am a 72 year old woman. About a year ago I began to feel terrible pains in my hips and legs. I consulted with two doctors in Chile (my birthplace and residence), though no one could tell me what was wrong. I lived for long months through injections and muscle relaxers. When I could find no other solution to my problem, there came to me what I call a miracle. I went to Rock Chiropractic where I met Dr. Paul McCartney. He diagnosed me immediately and started my care. It was incredible, after just two sessions I began to walk normally and no longer need the use of pills to carry on normal life! The best of it all is that Dr. McCartney has surrounded himself with knowledgeable and gentle professionals. I owe a debt of gratitude to everyone here. I thank them with all my heart and soul.

Blessing of a Pastor

Psalm 139:13-14 reads "You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body, and knit them together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about." Though we are wonderfully made, our bodies often need repair and are constantly in need of maintenance. I know Chiropractics can not cure everything however, when the delicate inner parts of our divinely engineered bodies are restored to their proper place, God, the Creator and Great Physician, quitely allows the body to do what it was created to do. About 4.5 years ago, after 2 by-pass open-heart surgeries, followed by stint replacement and angioplasty balloon procedure, indarterectomy, kidney failure, gall bladder removal, thyroid imbalance, severe anemia, 40 # weight loss and muscle atrophy, I was on a slippery slope, staring death in the face. A friend recommended Rock Chiropractic, and Dr. McCartney started me on a road to recovery from being an invalid to working 40 hours a week, and mowing my 2 acre yard with a 20" mower propelled by me. The mower always runs out of gas before I do. All at the age of 77 years, 9 months!!! Initial intensive adjustments, monthly maintenance and the grace of God, keep me going. I owe a great debt to the staff of Rock Chiropractic for helping me regain and greatly improve my aging body. I also developed many great and wonderful friends in the process. Prayer: Heavenly father, we commit this healing ministry to you for blessing, guidance and empowerment. May those who labor here recognize their role as assistants to the Great Physician and bring honor to your name. Amen.

Better safe than sorry

I work out at the gym 5 days a week, and I thought that I might ought to get a checkup to see how my spine was doing (my wife had great results by a chiropractor in the past). I wasn't in any real pain, but I thought, "better be safe than sorry". It turns out that I had a mild case of scoliosis. With that news, I began to incorporate chiropractic into my life. This was a year ago, as I write this. The results have been outstanding. Not only do I never have low back pain (or any other pain for that matter), I have had many other improvements in my life due to my treatments at Rock Chiropractic. My workouts at the gym are pretty rigorous. Everyone around me often complains of pain or aches of some kind. Well...not me! I think that the most amazing difference is that I no longer suffer from seasonal allergies. Cedar fever, Hay Fever, you name it. I got sick every year from one type of allergy or another. I have not had a single allergy attack. Not a SINGLE attack! Dr. Rock truly believes in what he does. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who cares as much for his patients and truly believes in what he does. If you make it your lifestyle, you can't imagine how good your life can be!
